Stolen Alpine Cemetery Bronze Plaques to be Replaced by Veteran’s Administration

February 18, 2015 – The Sexton for The Alpine Cemetery, Bob Duck has informed the Board of Directors of the Cemetery Association of some good news.  He has received two completed bronze plaques for two Veterans who are buried at The Alpine Cemetery and their plaques were removed along with the headstones from the Cemetery approximately two years ago by thieves in the night.  The thieves also took five other head stones and plaques – all belonged to veterans.
