Is Anyone Losing Pine Trees to the Bark Beetle in Alpine?

I was wondering if there was any chatter out there about the bark beetle plague on Alpine? We lost 3 pine trees and see many other properties affected.  The photo above is of one of my trees. It’s crazy how fast these trees die once you see that it’s affected. I am Assuming it is the bark beetle? We haven’t seen the actual culprit. Something’s boring under the bark and killing them from the top down. It seems to be mostly affecting the Aleppo pines. I see a couple of properties on South Grade that have several dead trees out…
