Traffic Collision Causes Power Outage in Alpine – Over 1,700 Customers Effected – Feb 27, 2015

February 27, SDG&E website states the following below and CHP website states the cause is an accident at Via Viejas and South Grade Rd. (in front of the Palo Verde Ranch Entrance) Telephone pole is cut in half and is blocking roadway.  Power lines down. http://www.sdge.com/safety/outages/outage-map Communities Affected: Dehesa/ Alpine/ Rancho Palo Verde, Viejas/ W Descanso/ Boulder Creek Circuit Affected: 0357 Customers Out: 1085 Start Time: Feb 27 12:59 PM Estimated Restoration: Feb 27 3:30 PM Outage Status: SDG&E is assessing the outage to determine the cause.
