Volunteers Needed at Dream Rider Equestrian Therapy
April 2021 – Dream Rider Equestrian Therapy is reopening for lessons this Spring 2021 after a year of shut down. We begin with our first student on April 10th, Saturday morning, and every Saturday morning for the following six weeks. The Alpine Community Church Accepting Monetary Donations & Clothing to Help Migrant Families in Mexico
January 2019 Please Help Migrant Families in Mexico More than 40 migrant men, women and children are temporarily sheltered at the Albergue Camino de Salvacion church in Tijuana, Mexico. The church is providing them a safe refuge as well as food, water, and electricity, but the migrants need new socks and underwear and the church needs donations to pay for food and utilities. Lions Tigers & Bears can always use your help! Becoming a volunteer is one of the greatest ways to give back to the rescued animals that call Lions Tigers & Bears home. Looking for a Local Charity to Donate to? Consider Dream Rider Equestrian Therapy
Its winter and expenses are high and lessons fewer due to weather. We want to continue providing equestrian therapy and lessons to Alpine and East County children on our specially trained ponies. Many potential children who can benefit cannot afford the cost of lessons. The fee $210 dollars donated will pay for a scholarship to a family in need for 6 weeks of lessons. Also our ponies require special feed, blankets and our facility needs extra care during winter weather. We hope that the community will respond to the need in order to keep us going for another year.
