Free Monarch Butterfly Releases In Alpine – May 2 & 3, 2015 Hundreds of live Monarch butterflies will grace the skies of Alpine as part of the 18th annual Sage & Songbirds celebration set for the first weekend of May. The live butterflies will be released at 12:00 noon, both Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, outside of Barons Market in Alpine Creek Town Center, 1347 Tavern Road in Alpine, CA.
