Fire Training in East Alpine/ Viejas Area June 6-8, 2016 San Diego County Fire Chiefs in cooperation with the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, and the community of Alpine, will be conducting their annual Fire Preparedness Exercise June 6 – 8, 2016 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m… Emergency Service Agencies from throughout San Diego County will come together to prepare for the upcoming fire season. COMMUNITY ALERT: Fire Training Drills in East Alpine / Viejas Area – April 22-24, 2015
Fire Training Today – Friday in East Alpine/ Viejas. Use caution on East Alpine Blvd and in the Viejas area today. Fire crews from fire agencies though out San Diego County will be participating in annual wildland fire training. Crews will practice techniques and review safety training. It is expected that about 50 fire engines will be at the training each day.
