Break in and items stolen at Alpine’s Radio Station FM107.9 – October 6, 2013

Hi everyone! I’m Chris, the Station Manager for “Mountain Country 107.9” here in Alpine. We are a non- profit community radio station that plays Country music and has locally produced shows. Sometime between 2AM – 9AM Sunday morning someone broke in to our station van and stole gear that we use for live broadcasts. It’s stuff that is pretty useless to anyone outside of a radio station. They also took an amplifier along with some speakers that were mounted inside the van. Needless to say they smashed a window to gain access We are looking at about $5000 in losses…
