Alpine Union School District (AUSD) Spanish Immersion Program in Alpine is Really on the Move!

After almost two years, the Spanish Immersion Program is really on the move. There are currently 155 students enrolled, from preschool to second grade. The talented staff, including Andrea Casas, Irma DeLuna, Sonia Fleischman, Lynn Laughlin, Darlene Newcomb, Tammy Rojas, Kathrin Turner, Dalia Zenteno and Luz Zenteno have bonded to form a tremendous team. The third grade class, which will open in the fall, will include Stephanie Jacques as the English teacher. Her Spanish-speaking colleague will be selected during the month of April.
