UPCOMING KIWANIS EVENT FOR KIDS
This Sunday, at 10:30 am at the field just north of Boulder Oaks Elementary School, Dick Allen will be holding instructions for Yo-Yo’s. The Kiwanis club has donated enough to purchase a dozen Yo-Yo’s for the youth of Alpine to learn how to “Walk the Dog” and a few other talents. Alpine Library Has Extended In-Person Service
We are excited to announce that the San Diego County Library is offering increased in-person services beginning June 15, 2021. Our hours will now be Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. You can also now return materials 24-hours a day, 7-days a week into the outdoor Book Return. What should I expect when I visit? In-person services will include access to computers, printers and copiers, and Wi-Fi. Customers will be able to browse the stacks, pick up holds, and check out books, CDs, and movies. ReadyBreak Summer Camps, Presented By the Alpine Education Foundation, in association with the Back County Land Trust and Alpine Union School District. The Camps will dun June 14-18, June 21-25 and June 28-July 2, 2021. The camps offer enhanced course work to better prepare students for the coming fall semester. New camps are constantly being added through May. Coming soon: Art, Sports, Cooking, Coding & Robotics, Living Classroom Environmental Education, and Technology Adventure. Alpine Woman’s Club to Award Scholarships February 2021 ALPINE – The Alpine Woman’s Club Scholarship, Preservation and Education Foundation will be accepting scholarship applications from the Class of 2021 for graduating high school seniors who reside in Alpine. In order to be considered for a scholarship, applications must be received no later than May 31.
