    Alpine Jack in the Box Update

    I attended the Alpine Design Review Board meeting tonight. Here is a summary of what I heard. The lease is signed. There is a Jack in The Box moving into the Fred’s location. The lease will be taken over by a franchisee. It will not be a Jack in The Box corporate owned location. The building will NOT look like other traditional Jack locations.     The Alpine Design Review Board will be meeting on October 4, 2021 at the Alpine Community Center at 7pm.  This is a much anticipated meeting with a potential Alpine Jack in the Box as a hot topic.  This topic was on the agenda for the meeting scheduled for September 13.  That meeting was cancelled due to insufficient notice to the community.     Small Business Stimulus Grants Available from the Alpine Chamber of Commerce

    ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS! The Alpine Chamber of Commerce has collaborated with the San Diego City Supervisor to offer SMALL BUSINESS STIMULUS GRANTS for up to $25,000. The Small Business Stimulus Grant Program is funded by Board of Supervisors allocated federal American Recovery Plan Act funding.     Alpine Library Has Extended In-Person Service

    We are excited to announce that the San Diego County Library is offering increased in-person services beginning June 15, 2021. Our hours will now be Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. You can also now return materials 24-hours a day, 7-days a week into the outdoor Book Return.  What should I expect when I visit? In-person services will include access to computers, printers and copiers, and Wi-Fi.
