We are excited to announce that the San Diego County Library is offering increased in-person services beginning June 15, 2021. Our hours will now be Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. You can also now return materials 24-hours a day, 7-days a week into the outdoor Book Return.
What should I expect when I visit?
In-person services will include access to computers, printers and copiers, and Wi-Fi. Customers will be able to browse the stacks, pick up holds, and check out books, CDs, and movies.
And the Summer Learning Challenge has just begun and will run through August 31! We have lots of books waiting for you at your local branch and tons of online activities to make this summer a true learning experience. Visit www.sdcl.org/summer for more information.
How is the library addressing health and safety?
The safety of our staff and customers is our primary concern and we will be complying with public health guidelines for physical distancing and facial coverings. Additionally, cleaning will take place throughout the day.
The schedule of service and frequently asked questions are available on our website. Please visit www.sdcl.org/services for more information.
