Come See Vintage Antiques from Alpine’s History at the Alpine Library – March 5, 2020
FREE EVENT FOR ALL AGES! Vintage Antiques from Alpine’s History! Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 6 pm at the Alpine Library! What do a McGuffey Reader, a butter churn, a monument marker, and a marriage license all have in common? They are all over a century old and can all be seen at Alpine’s John De Witt Museum. Tom Myers, President of the Alpine Historical Society, will bring a variety of objects, each over 100 years old, to the Alpine Library to illustrate the new poster exhibit at the Library. Tom will talk about each item, describe how it was used, and tell its story. The presentation will provide insight on the life and times of early Alpine settlers. The Alpine Library is located at 1752 Alpine Blvd Alpine, CA 91901.
