CRIME ALERT: Home Break-In on Running Mare Lane Alpine 8-15-17

Crime Alert 8-29-17

I just returned from vacation and was informed that a neighbor had their home broken into during the day (I think the date was about 8/15?? but not 100% certain of that date).  It happened sometime between 10 am and 4 pm.  It was a secluded house on Running Mare Lane in Alpine and a bathroom window was left open.  They removed the screen and entered the house.  The alarm was not set. Jewelry, a pair of boots (really?), a jar of coins, a basket of women’s purses and other miscellaneous items were taken.  The closet, drawers, etc., were ransacked.  I asked the neighbor if it could be posted on the network so I am posting it here so others can be aware 🙂
