Fourth of July Parade and Carnival in Alpine on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 10am!
How many of you thought there was still a 4th of July parade in Alpine up at Crown Hills? There has not been one since 2013. Alpine Kiwanis, Alpine Chamber of Commerce and Alpine Community Center and a few others are sponsoring a parade down Alpine Boulevard at 10:00 AM on July fourth. We want all to come and be a part of the day.
The parade will start at West Victoria then go down Alpine Boulevard to the Community Center where the carnival will be at the park. Parade folks will check in at the Women’s Club parking lot at 8:30 AM. There will be the parade, a carnival with music, deep-pit Bar-B-Q, food, booths, a beer Garden and relay races to name a few of the things you can do to be part of the celebration of the birth of our nation here in Alpine.
We would like to invite any group to be part of the parade. Our only requirement is that you decorate in red, white and blue. If you are a business or individual that does not want to march but would like to be a sponsor and be a part of this day we welcome your sponsorship. If you would like to have a booth and be part of the carnival you can sign up as a non-profit or for profit and reserve your spot today. All registration forms for these three opportunities can be picked up at the Alpine Community Center or Alpine Chamber of Commerce. We want Alpine to be “united,” as we celebrate the birth of our nation. Make it a day of fun remembering 241 years as a country. Our vision for this day is a parade and an old fashioned carnival where we can get to know our neighbors, have a good time and unite together as the great community of Alpine.
